Paul has been with the company since the creation of Astley-Pierce Financial Services in 1987.
He has over 30 years experience in the Financial Services sector having worked for a bank, a building society and a pensions and investment company.
He is now responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. In addition to being one of the genaral practitioner IFAs he is also a pension transfer specialist and is a Chartered Financial Planner which is the highest qualification currently avaialable in the independent financial advisory profession.
Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts.
He is married with two Sons.
Paul engages in many varied activities outside work but has never really been captured by 'traditional' pastimes. Amongst other things, he engages in private flying (he operates a 1943 Harvard and a Chipmunk out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport and has flown a wide array of different aircraft). Other activities include rifle shooting, parachuting and motorcycling. He tries to keep fit and ran a Marathon in September 2008.
